Wow. I've encountered the term "psychogenic fugue" twice in two weeks (and not once before this). First in The Raw Shark Texts (Dr. Randle believes Eric Sanderson is experiencing phychogenic fugue), and then in Jim Emerson's blog, via your link. David Lynch speaks of psychogenic fugue and how he explores this concept in his film Lost Highway. Neat-o!
